In alignment with the Memorandum of Understanding between ESIC and the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University, a dynamic Scientific Day will be held on 30 November to mark World Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness Week (WAAW).

The event will feature an interactive learning session tailored for dental students and interns. Through real-life case scenarios and guided discussions, participants will deepen their understanding of AMR and explore best practices for responsible antibiotic use in dental care.

🌍 Community Engagement
To broaden the initiative’s reach, awareness sessions will be conducted for patients visiting the dental clinic—bringing vital AMR knowledge directly to the community.

📊 Student Insights
A Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) survey has been distributed to students and interns to assess their current perspectives on antibiotic use in dentistry.
